1. Why A People-First Company Matters

Signal Relief was created to feel different from the typical “pain product” company. From day one, our goal has been to listen first, serve with empathy, and keep things simple and human. We believe trust is built person-to-person through honest conversations, thoughtful support, and real accountability. That’s why we’re proud to introduce the leaders and teams who show up for our customers every day.

2. Our Story - Meet The Team

Signal Relief began with a simple belief: if relief is going to help real people, it has to be approachable, drug-free, and easy to use in everyday life. In the early days, our founders were doing it all - answering customer questions, packing boxes, and refining the experience one conversation at a time. Those first thank-you notes and “I finally got my day back” stories shaped how we work: listen first, build with empathy, and keep improving the small details that make a big difference.

As word spread, our team grew, but the mindset didn’t change. We’re still here to serve, still learning from every customer, and still focused on trust over hype. That culture starts with the people who set the tone from day one.

Which brings us to the folks you’re likely searching for - meet Mike Hammond, our Founder, and Daniel Marriott, our CEO.

Mike Hammond, Founder

If you’ve searched for “Mike Hammond Signal Relief”, you’ve likely seen his recent conversation on The Pivot with Dr. Robi Ludwig, where he shares the story behind his mission and why building a people-first culture matters. In that interview, Mike talks about measuring success by everyday wins - someone taking a walk again, sleeping through the night, or getting back to a favorite hobby - and how those moments shape the way Signal Relief listens, iterates, and serves.

A lifelong entrepreneur and community-builder, Mike helped launch Signal Relief in late 2019 with a clear mission and a simple promise: make drug-free comfort more accessible and easier to use for everyday people, keep solutions approachable, keep the team humble and responsive, and keep improving the small details that make a big difference for real people. He leads with optimism and accountability, championing clear education, thoughtful customer support, and a culture where everyone is empowered to help.

Hearing a customer say, “I went golfing today” or “I finally slept” is the best part of the job! Those small, ordinary wins are why he does this and why our team keeps pushing to deliver a better experience, from packaging and education to customer care. The heart behind Signal Relief starts with Mike’s belief in small, meaningful wins. To scale those wins into a reliable experience for every customer, vision needs an engine - Mike brings the “why,” and Daniel Marriott brings the “how,” translating purpose into processes that work for real people every day.

Daniel Marriott, CEO

Daniel brings decades of manufacturing, product, and operations leadership to the table. As CEO, he focuses on building quality systems, making things simpler for customers, and supporting a culture where ideas move quickly from “what if” to “let’s try it.” Daniel helped steer Signal Relief from a startup launch to a growing, nationwide brand - keeping our standards high and our processes grounded in real-world feedback.

With the “why” and the “how” aligned, the next step is making sure our education and guidance stay people-first and responsible. That’s where one of our Medical Advisors, Dr. Beth DuPree, helps shape how we communicate and support customers.

Dr Beth DuPree, MD, FACS, ABOIM - Medical Advisor

As one of our key Medical Advisors, Dr. Beth DuPree brings decades of clinical experience and a people-first teaching style to everything we publish. She’s a board-certified general surgeon, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), and additionally board-certified in Integrative Medicine (ABOIM), a background that blends rigorous surgical training with whole-person care. She is widely recognized for her work in breast surgery and has served as a clinician, educator, and author for many years. On our blog, Dr. Beth says she came to Signal Relief as a skeptic and became a supporter after personal exploration and patient-centered observation. Her perspective keeps our communication responsible, our instructions clear, and our focus on everyday usability. She partners with leadership and our makers on placement guides, responsible-use language, and education, so people feel confident using our products in real life.

With leadership and medical guidance aligned, our Engineering & Product team turns those principles into practical, dependable design.

Engineering & Product Team - Makers with a Service Mindset

Our product and engineering folks, located in Utah, are builders at heart and listeners first. They obsess over durability, ease of use, and clear instructions, then test and refine based on what customers tell us. The goal isn’t flashy tech talk; it’s practical, dependable design that fits into real life.

From prototypes to everyday use, the handoff is intentional: our makers refine the details, then our Idaho-based Customer Care team meets you where you are with answering questions, offering placement tips, and celebrating the small wins. If engineering is how we honor the details, Customer Care is how we honor people.
